On December 16^th, "White Paper on Supply Chain Innovation and Application Based on Industrial Internet" (hereinafter referred to as the"White Paper") was officially released at the 2021 Industrial Internet Achievement Conference.  Industrial Internet Industry Alliance organizes the White Paper, University of Hong Kong, Tsinghua University, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing Foreign Studies University, China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, Huawei, JD Logistics, Haier Digital Technology, Transforming Zhilian, China Unicom, ZTE, 27 academic and industrial units.

At present, a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation is booming.  Industrial Internet as an essential cornerstone of the fourth industrial revolution, through the construction of three functional systems of network, platform, and security realizes the comprehensive integration of all elements, the entire industrial chain and the entire value chain connect.  The industrial Internet of things will strongly support the digital transformation and upgrading of enterprises in all aspects of the supply chain such as development and design, procurement and supply, manufacturing, logistics and distribution, and customer service, and effectively serve the new development pattern of “dual circulation” in my country.

As the first white paper in the field of industrial internet and supply chain intersection, the white paper clarifies the definition and connotation of the supply chain based on the industrial internet, discusses the new opportunities brought by the industrial internet for the digitalization and intelligent transformation of the supply chain, and analyses the innovative technology system, innovation mode and application scenarios of the supply chain based on the industrial internet.  In addition, the "White Paper" also looks forward to the future development of the supply chain based on the Industrial Internet in combination with the current development status and puts forward targeted countermeasures and suggestions.

The release of the "White Paper" provides suggestions and guidance for accelerating the application of the Industrial Internet in the supply chain field, providing enterprises with the rapid and accurate matching of purchase and sales needs, improving the resource allocation capabilities of the industrial chain, and supply chain, and realizing the overall optimization of the production and scheduling of critical materials, thereby promoting my country’s manufacturing industry.  Therefore, transformation, upgrading, and developing a digital supply chain system will positively play a positive role
